The makers of Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Spin Master, have announced today that they have made a change in the way ties are handled in Bakugan Battles.

According to their post,

In the event of a tie: The battle is won by the first Bakugan that stood on the Gate card.

Previously, in the event of a tie, the brawlers each roll another Bakugan and the first one to open on a Gate Card wins.

The new rules are simpler, but in my opinion, a cop out.  I think that there should be a better way to resolve ties.
